The Bloy team is pleased to announce the addition of Mowana copper mine to the growing Blockbuster client base. The Blockbuster software was implemented on site in February 20105 and the Bloy team will be working hand-in-hand with the geologists on site to implement best practise grade control procedures.

Description: Mowana is located close to Botswana’s second largest city, Francistown, in the north-eastern part of the country, in an area which has been mined for the past 400 years.
Reserves: As at 14 June 2007, Mowana has an estimated total proven and probable reserves of 14.8 Mt at a grade of 1.11% Cu.
Mining Method: Mowana is a conventional open pit operation. The process plant is a standard flotation process technology and has been designed to produce saleable copper concentrates from the treatment of approximately 1 million tonnes per annum of oxide, supergene and sulphide ores.
